The TBT Youth Group
SALTY 2017! Get ready for action as our High School Youth Group is making waves. SALTY just elected a fantastic new board that is eager to bring their vision and energy to SALTY and BBYO in the year to come. They are committed to reaching out and bringing in more Jewish teens to our SALTY Chapter and to the BBYO regional events as well. Watch for the Social Justice programming and religious practices. They love their shul-ins and want more of them. They enjoy doing service for younger children. They are especially excited about the children’s services they lead at the High Holidays and the Purim Carnival each Spring. Congratulations to the new board. Seven great leaders to bring SALTY into the future. BBYO has its own special terms for the offices, but note the more general terms in the photo below.
Now partnered with BBYO (B'nai B'rith Youth Organization), SALTY offers a unique and meaningful Jewish experience. This youth group is a place where Jewish teens can explore their Jewish identity while having fun and creating life long friendships. The programs run through SALTY range from apple picking, to running Shabbat services, to having a slumber party at the temple! SALTY participates in regional BBYO events including dances, conventions, and dodgeball tournaments.
We are happy to announce that SALTY has hired a new advisor!
BBYO is an all inclusive Jewish organization that welcomes and embraces all forms of Judaism, so we encourage ALL Jewish teens to join SALTY.

SALTY, the Shoreline Alliance for Temple Youth, is the Temple Beth Tikvah Youth Group. Affiliated with both NFTY (the Reform Movement's North American Federation of Temple Youth) and BBYO (B'nai B'rith Youth Organization, a trans-denominational Jewish youth organization), participation in SALTY allows you to continue your life long friendships from TBT's Religious School, make new Jewish friends, strengthen your Jewish identity, hone your leadership skills and have a great time participating in activities at TBT and in the broader Jewish community.
